TRYING TO HAVE FUN IN THE SUN THIS SUMMER

Carson started tee-ball this year and he is very entertaining to watch

he loves it but, he also loves getting the treat at the end a little more

Fishing with Aunt Jodi and Uncle Matt, and Justin's family we were having fun Kierra caught a fish and between her and Uncle Matt this little fishy swims a little sidways now. It got dropped when they were trying to get it off the hook. oops

then it started to down poor so we packed up

it was halrious, Carson just wanted the frisbee, so any chance he got he took and he ran with it, with no intensions of giving it back. hehehe

Carson's problem is he's not very fast like his big sister Kambrie, as you can see in the next viedo, because she then thought it was funny what Carson was doing she decided to get in on it

Kierra's Last Day of 6th Grade

Kierra graduated from 6th grade

Kierra graduated from 6th grade and recieved an award that only few kids recevie, and was honred that night with a plaque, we are so excited and sad at the same time for her to move on and head into Jr. High, it sill dosn't seem like she is old enough let alone us old enough for her to be going in Jr. High. But we know that she is a good kid and has some awsome friends. We only hope her brain will come back soon, she is soooo, smart when it comes to school, she just sometimes is a little tooooo BLONDE, at times and her teacher was always teasing her about it too. Just for insider Kierra thinks HAIR is DEAD BRAIN CELLS. Chandler told her that is why she has so much of it.

Carson's 5th Birthday

Carson loves Star Wars, he even loves the old Star Wars movies, it dosn't matter as long as it is Star Wars, so he asked me to make the millennium falcon for his cake and it had to have Luke Skywarker and Chewy on it, but Chewy ened up being an ewok, but he was so excited, I don't think noticed. Kierra helpd me out on this cake. Carson also got a few star wars guys for his birthday along with a BRAND NEW BIKE, this is his first bike, he has been using Chandler's old bike which use to be thier cousins bike. So he was very happy to get a NEW Bike. Although we ended up having to take the bike back because the petal would not stay on it was making a strange sound, so this time Jeremy asked for one in the box and Chandler and Jeremy put it together the next night, so Carson was able to get all exicted all over again. This bike is orange and not green like the first one but Carson picked out this one.

Chandler's 10 th Birthday

Chandler wanted me to take picture of almost every gift he got, he was being silly and very gratefull, Chandler's two loves are baseball and fishing so he got some new things for fishing and was able to play a baseball game on his birthday and he did an awasome job, he plays first base and has made some ouststanding outs. We then came back to have shake and bake chicken and corn on the cob, with grandma and grandpa logan along with cake and rootbeer, I metion the rootbeer last because Jeremy thought it would be a good idea to put the rootbeer in the freezer while we were at Chandler's game, well I got it for dinner and I couldn't open it so I handed to Jeremy to open and all of sudden it sounded as if a BOMB had gone off in our house, the root beer exploded into Jeremy's face and eye's, and all over the celing, doors, floor you name it it had rootbeer on it, from the kitchen to our front door, it did end with a beauitful display of rootbeer fountain. Jeremy ended nursing his for good two days and our celing and walls/floor are very clean. Chandler enjoyed his birthday this year especially the rootbeer BOMB, his Dad made.

Easter 2011

Easter 2011

Our Easter started out great the kids had a fun time finding thier eggs and unwrapping thier baskets that the bunny left for them.

But our Easter took a devastating turn for our family while at church our little Kambrie was sexually assualted by a 14 year old boy in the womens restroom, as horriable as this situation was the Lord was watching out for her, and had people in place to save her. Her Big brother Chandler played a huge part in this by coming and alreting me. We are also blessed to have found out that 911 was already there before we even had to time to think about calling. Kambrie is doing very well she has been going to counceling and is very pround of the way she screamed and kicked to get away. The detectives working the case were so pleased with how bright and ariculate she is. The case is still on going so can't say a whole lot more, but please parents take our situation as a learning tool and make sure no matter where you at and no matter what age your kids are go with them or send an older child with them. Please spread the word around and in your wards to make sure even durring primary that our kids are going to the restrooms in two's. We have made sure that we have two primary teachers in each class for when kids need to go to the bathroom. This has been an eye-opening event for us and we want to make sure that everyone eles kids are safe, it is sad that we live in world now, even in the safeiest places we need to be on gaurd at all times. We now pray that the Lord will bless the detectives working the case will find our little Kambrie justice.

Due do the events that ocurred and having 9am church I didn't get a pictures of my kids in their cute Easter dress clothes, but I did snap some shots of Kierra and Kambrie after church in thier matching purple clothes they got, and Carson looking so cool, Chandler didn't want his picture taken that day.

Jeremy's Graduation

Jeremy finally graduated form Weber State University in Clincial Lab Science this spring. This has been a long hard road for our little family many sacrifices have been made to allow for this happen and we are so blessed to have such wonderfull children that have gone through this with us, they were so proud of thier Dad. Both sides of our families have helped out so much too along the way and we are so gratefull to them for thier help. I am so proud of my husband for sticking to it, he has worked three jobs and was a full- time student through most of his schooling, he didn't sleep much and alot of the times you could find him asleep in his parked car either in the driveway or in the mall parking lot before he headed in to Famous Footwear. The kids loved to find him asleep in the car and go bang on the window to see him and jump and hear him swear.

We had a wonderful celebration that day, Jeremy's parents were able to make down from Alaska, which ment the world to Jeremy. Jeremy's sister Jodi, and our sister-n-law Megan, my parents, and all of our kids were the loudest people there we wanted to make sure Jeremy heard us cheering him on. Kambrie even had a cheer she made up for him!!!
